Keeping Our Center ~ Day 8

Good Morning Everyone!

Well, winter is flaunting her beauty one last (I hope) time. Ever since our trip to Cancun a few weeks ago I’m even more anxious for the air to stop biting when it hits my face! Norwegians say there is no bad weather, just bad clothing. So, we walk two to four miles a day, thanks to our nut job of a dog, dressed as well as possible for the weather. But I have yet to cave in to a face mask. Even I have my limits. A scarf must suffice.

Still, the snow clinging to the branches of the trees, and the light blanket of white on the ground makes me smile and feel all warm and cozy inside. Winter carries a pertinent message for this time and she’s getting her say... it is ok to slow down. It’s good to pause and reflect on the beauty of the world in its many different forms. It’s better than good to connect the beauty outside with the beauty inside our souls. Deep calls to deep this morning, do you feel it? Be quiet. Be still. Be open.

There is a steady undercurrent to all of life, flowing underneath the chaos of the world. This Essence of All that Is reminds us that we are all One, we are all sacred, we are all part of something much, much more than we remember In this is peace.

Be quiet. Be still. Be open.
